On Friday October 25 the annual SWASTE regional conference will kick off with an evening fieldtrip to the Amazeum (a children’s science center) where we will have dinner and tour the exhibits. After this we will spend some time at Crystal Bridges (a museum of American art) on the same grounds as the Amazeum.
Saturday, October 26th is when the conference presentations will take place. We will be meeting on the University of Arkansas campus in the college of education buildings. Lunch will be provided. Additionally, Dr. Daniel Kennefick, a physics professor at the University, will be giving a keynote address where he will discuss his latest book entitled “No Shadow of a Doubt: The 1919 Eclipse that Confirmed Einstein’s Theory of Relativity.”
